We are looking for a dynamic leader for our Trauma/Acute Care Surgery opportunity at Medical Center Hospital Odessa.

Medical Center Hospital (MCH) has provided care to the Permian Basin for 68 years. Over the years, MCH has expanded and added services and technology to meet the growing needs of the community.  Today, MCH has grown into a 402-bed  Level II Trauma Center.

Job Responsibilities

Trauma Program:

  • 402-bed Acute Care Facility
  • Level II Trauma
  • 12hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12hr secondary call from home with 30 min response
  • Average of 3 trauma alerts per day
  • 1600 admissions per year
  • Opportunity to work with General Surgery Residents
  • All cases come through the ED

Job Requirements

Trauma Surgeon Criteria:

  • Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred
  • ATLS Required
  • Willingness to work at on-site clinic for post-op follow up visit
