Looking for a dynamic leader for our Trauma and Acute Care Surgery opportunity at Medical City Arlington!

Medical City Arlington is a 432-bed full-service hospital with an ACS level II trauma verification and is acting as a comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center.  Arlington is part of the mid cities region with a population of 750,000 including Mansfield and Grand Prairie sitting between Dallas and Fort Worth.  MCA is staffed by more than 1,400 dedicated health care professionals and volunteers, including more than 800 physicians.  Medical City Arlington is an “A” rated facility based on the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Survey.

Job Responsibilities

Trauma Program:

  • 432-bed Facility
  • Level II trauma verified (pending letter from the state)
  • 12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call from home with 30 min response (rarely called in)
  • 6-8 Trauma Alerts per day
  • 80,000 ED visits annually

Job Requirements

Trauma Medical Director Criteria:

  • Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
  • ATLS Required
