The Trauma Program Manager performs under the direction of the Medical Director and shall interact with all departments on behalf of the Medical Director, ensuring on-going compliance with State of Florida Department of Health Pamphlet 150-9.
Experience: Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience. At least 2 years formal experience in an educational role (QA/EC, SON, Nursing education).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
Licensure Certification: Valid Florida RN license is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required. Current Emergency Nurses Association Trauma Nursing Core Course training or equivalent. Must meet and maintain valid and current all unit specific and organizational skills/competencies, certifications/licensures, as required by regulatory and/or nursing standard of practice for the specialty.
